Khiron is the Greek myth of the wounded healer. The centaur Χείρων (in ancient Greek) was wounded in a battle and as a result started to explore the forest as a resource for healing, a metaphor for the origins of Khiron House
Benjamin Fry's book How I F***ed Up My Life and Made It Mean Something tells the story of how he struggled to find effective treatment for himself and then went on to found Khiron House. It is a moving testimony of the agony of trying to find help that works. Read more at Amazon
